    Pier 1 was constructed in 1979, pier 2 in 1989, pier 3 in 1995 and are all connected in a 'ㄷ‘ shape. Primary products handled in these piers include lumber, supplementary animal feed materials, cement, liquid cargo etc..

    Major industrial facilities such as the Gunsan Seaside Industrial Complex and the Gunsan National Industrial Complex are located nearby. Plans are being made to designate the Kunjang National Industrial Complex as a Free Export Zone.
